When I was at the Factory on business last year, I actually met the fellow in the video and was QUITE impressed with his work. He showed me quite a few guns he was working on and they were GORGEOUS! Unless I was there on a "vacation break", I do believe that he is their ONLY true engraver. S&W does offer Laser Engraving as well, but that is not even in the same class as the real thing!

Just be prepared to but a bullet in your mouth, close your eyes and open your wallet...........it ain't cheap! But........ if you can afford the coin it will really make an average gun look spectacular.

Cool. I'd like to have watched them do more of the actual engraving. Those guys really are gifted artists. I wonder how long it will be before it is all computerized with no real "hands on" work.
