Their plastic mock ups of Ivory, Buffalo horn, and pearl, over the last years, were really poor in my estimation. Previously (15 years ago) I could count on them.

I didnt found them that bad. I do own a couple Ivory looking grips for my Uberti Schofield. They look great on this revolver. The only flaw was that they where to slippery.

No, that's ACME.

Ajax is a laundry detergent. Supposed to be stronger than dirt.

Unless you are into Greek history. Then Ajax is a mighty warrior.

Let me tell you just how old I am.

I remember when you could get REAL ivory grips for $49.50.

And Colt SAA were the $125.00, and S&W 44 mag were $131.50 (IIRC), K22 were $81.00, chief spl were $65.00.

And popcorn and a drink was $0.15 at the sat morning cowboy matinee.

And when bottled cokes went from 5 cents to 6 cents, we thought the world would surely come to an end.

I'm ok now.

Okay, I don't THINK I'm as old as that, but I remember regular gas for 19.9 and ethyl for 24.9. By the time I got to high school regular was 49.9, and I remember thinking "people will NEVER pay a buck for a gallon of gas, there'd be a revolt".

I'm not only old enough to remember that, I'm old enough to remember when.

Tennis balls were white.
Beer cans were steel
Only pirates and girls wore earrings.
