Default gun lube thoughts

Went to the gun show today here in Hampton, bought the usual, ammo of various calibers, some of what I call gimmick ammo, snake shot, so forth, a couple of pistol mags. So this is my question, I bought some stuff from this one vender who threw in a bottle of "Lucas gun oil". First off, has anyone used this on any of their firearms? I have used Lucas products for years in my cars, but somehow have missed this one till now. Is it worth anything, or just another gimmick

Depending on the viscosity, it might actually slow down the cycling of your 15-22. Their website suggests it is good for fishing reels and squeaky locks, though, so it's not a complete loss.

A couple shots of Remoil in the ejection port before shooting will make your 15-22 much happier than thick oils or fancy lubricants.

not so worried about my cycling rate, more concerned with the weatherizing properties, and just not for my 15-22. I do alot of deer hunting and here in Virginia, winter is pretty much wet all the time.

remoil is good stuff. no doubt the teflon in it helps. keeps everything lubed nice, and makes it easier to clean.

I have some and used it on my 15-22s with no problems. It's lubricant so try if you want to and pay attention to function and wear.
