I guess there is a bomar rib that will go on a stock k38 masterpiece with doing anything to the gun [ except 1 or 2 screw holes ]There is also a rib for the bull barrel type.
How can you tell which is which. Is there a number or something stamped on them. I fear internet shopping and winding up with the wrong one. Is there a web site with pics anywhere? Thanks Moe
I know at one time Bomar had a rib that would go on a heavy barrel model 10 and you only had to drill/tap two holes. If you have a K38 with the front sight base that is removable you can install one of their revolver ribs, after removing that base. Drill and tap two holes also.
Bomar ribs are no longer made so it might be hard to find a website that will answer your question. Aristocrat and Wichita currently make similar ribs but I don't know if they make one for standard barrels. You might try their websites or Midway USA and/or Brownells. Both of those companies sell sight ribs.
