Default BG 380 Is there a better way to clear this round from the barrel?

I ran across this possibility one day, even though very remote possibility, it could happen. Especially if someone made a couple of mistakes. In any case it seems to put you in a very dangerous place and I'm curious if there is a better way to clear this, more safely?

I made a short couple minute VIDEO below. You allow the gun to load a round from the magazine with the take down pin uninstalled for whatever reason you can imagine. The round is locked into the barrel and I would think messing with the upper assembly would be unwise, I would like to hear of any better way. I was able to partially insert the pin and eject the round then fix the problem but even that felt pretty unsafe. Any thoughts?

I simulated your scenario with snapcap rather than a live round.
If you have a round chambered in your scenario, with the slide and barrel removed from the frame, just remove the recoil spring, slide the barrel forward and remove the round from the grip of the ejector in a downward sliding motion. No problemo.

Thanks Copnomore! That makes sense and somehow I was just hesitant to put that extra force on the barrel but once you set me straight that worked perfect. More simple solution too. Much appreciated. I dont have snap caps for this one but felt safe enough to make a video followup on my blog with your advice

The only other solution I could come up with was to hold the slide, hit the firing pin with a hammer and watch it clear itself.
