Looking to sell or trade this nice WWI veteran Mk II Hand Ejector.
Circa 1915, British issued and marked R.H Sloley. It *may* have been the property of a WWI South African flier with that name, but there's no proof).
Quote:
"2Lt R H Sloley of No 56 Sqn RFC (formerly Royal Garrison Artillery) was killed in action while flying SE 5 A8928 on 1 October 1917. His aeroplane was last seen going down in combat over Oostniewkerke, apparently breaking up. He was aged 20."

The factory letter only shows sale to the British government.
Sometime in its past it was set up as an American gentleman's revolver, rechambered in .45 Colt. Judging from the angled and serrated front sight I'm thinking it was reblued and reworked in the 60s? Whoever did it added a very nice trigger also.
SN on barrel, frame and stocks match, cylinder # was lost when faced off for .45 Colt. Bore is VG, sharp and shiny. Lots of case coloring on hammer and trigger.
Lettered to the British government, comes with a super nice, supple, period-correct British flap holster dated 1917.
$750 plus actual fedex overnight shipping cost to your FFL. Open to firearms trades, especially in VA. Irish-marked firearms particularly interesting.
