Default 625 and full moon clip snap caps - Which ones?

I made the mistake of buying Traditions snap caps in 45 ACP and tried to put them in my full moon clips. I have no trouble loading loaded ammo in these clips, no matter what brand. I tried putting the 5 snap caps in the full moon clip. I managed to get 3 in with more force than I have ever had to use on these clips. When you're to the point where you're shaking from exerting such force, you know this **** is so out spec. The other two wouldn't go in no matter what what. I even tried to beat them into the clips with a hammer. Still wouldn't go in. Needless to say, they have been thrown in the garbage along with the clip. My question is if someone knows a brand that is within spec they would recommend?

I use the aluminum .45ACP A-Zoom snapcaps in my Model 25-2.

You can easily make your own. Cut a bit of eraser to size with an Xacto knife, just a hair oversize, and insert in the primer pocket of a fired and sized case. Trim flush. works great and you're using an actual case so you know it's spec.

I ended up getting the 2 round moon clips for my snap caps and they work great. I had the same problem with the Tipton snap caps. I have also made my own snap caps using silicone in the primer pocket.

Another homemade version is to clean the primer pocket on a spent case and refill it with a dab of silicone sealer. When it's dry, just trim the excess with a knife.

When the silicone gets too beat up, just dig it out and redo.
