Default STOCKIN UP

I might want to look at some stock options for my 15-22
Will almost any stock for an AR slide on the tube?
Can you just buy the stock ,without an AR tube?

You just need to buy the stock itself, as the 15-22 has a fake receiver extension molded into the lower. Any stock that is "Mil-spec" in size will fit your 15-22, don't buy "Commercial". Again, these terms refer to size of the tube they slide onto, not quality of the item, and it will always be specified in the item description. There are lots of stocks out there, but I highly recommend Magpul stocks. Check out the MOE, CTR, and ACS.

In addition to the Magpul stocks (except for the UBR which can't be installed on the 15-22), take a look into Vltor Imod stocks as well. I find them to incorporate a superior cheek weld to any of the Magpul varieties while having equal polymer quality and some storage space w/o breaking the bank too much (priced as much as the CTR).

And just to reiterate everyone else above, make sure it's spec'd for mil-spec buffer tubes.
