Do the 65-3's have MIM parts ?

No. To the best of my knowledge MIM parts didn't start showing up until some models in 1992 and then later.

I'll have to check my SC of S&W later, it gives the timeline of when MIM was introduced in the various models.

I believe it started with thumb latches, then S&W started using MIM triggers with forged hammers, and then more MIM was introduced.

IIRC the 65-5 was the first 65 with MIM parts other than the thumb latch. Regards 18DAI
