Buy a 625-5 Classic 5" or 25-5 Nickel 4"
Both are 45 Colt and I own a 25-5 blued 4" already. I've read some really good things about the Classic. No box or papers on either. Thanks for any input!
Also, I think I can get my hands on a Mountain Gun, pick between a 625, 629, or 657 Mt. Gun, which of those Mt guns is the most rare?

What are your plans for this new revolver? Carry? Target? Hunting?
My nickle-plated Smiths have held up pretty well, but stainless is forever.... JMO, H.

If you decide against buying the Classic and it's in good shape I might like a shot at it if the price is right.
Feel free to PM me if you don't buy it.
Thanks!

Oh, my recommendation would be to buy the Classic!!

Thanks guys. I was going to a local gun auction with the strong intent on buying a few of these 45 colts. I picked up the 625-5 Classic for $720 otd which seems pretty good. It has a really smooth action and should be quite accurate. I also lucked into a 25-5 2.5" John Jovino Custom nickel which is beautiful and a 625-7 3". So it was quite a sweet auction.

Excellent price on the 625 Classic! It would take $1000 to get me to consider parting ways with mine. It is far and away the most accurate revolver I own and a sheer joy to shoot!
Looking forward to seeing pictures of that Jovino.
Congrats on hitting the local jackpot!

Pics coming soon
Thanks for the information guys and I'll post pics as soon as I'm home from a business trip. Those of you that have a 625-7 3" or have shot one, do they normally have a pretty heavy trigger pull? When I cocked the hammer it was noticeably tighter than my other Smiths.
