Default EAA Bounty Hunter 44 mag

Saw one of these on consingment today for $325. Has a 4 1/2' barrel.

When I was first handling it I made the comment that the cylinder locks up pretty tight for a Ruger when the clerk set me straight and said it wasn't a Ruger. It has no markings on it indicating EAA. Just HWM, made in Germany, Bounty Hunter, ser# on the barrel as well as the frame. At first I thought it a Ruger Bisley.

I did some more research on it and connected some dots and traced it to EAA. It looks and feels like a decent gun. I never had a hogleg. Any one have an opinion on these, issues and such?

'Had one of those years ago. I believe they were one of the first so called "clone" makers. The one I had was a good shooter, lots of fun, and no worries about depreciating value by shooting it.

I did a search on the internet and came up with some other gun forums that had inquires on it. Most have been positive. The negatives seemed no more apparent than what you would expect with any brand, so it may be in my future. Had some things come up, like rain for instance that screws me over in my job. I've pondered on other guns before and most of the time I loose out on it.
