Night Sights on model 60 357

my first post... need help, i have a model 60 357 stainless steel serial #cnh94xx
bought meprolight night sight pn 22771. had to lathe the screw to fit inside rear sight, now i do not have any "click" lock in the adjustment. did I loose a part off of the one I took off? i am frustrated! are there replacement parts for this? may need new screw and nut.
