Default 27-2 6 1/2" Two-tone

Took a chance on this one, and it worked out OK. Shipped to H.H. Harris, Chicago, IL, in Aug. '67, and letters with nickel cylinder and checkered GA target stocks. Thanks Jim, Dick, and Mike.

Very cool find. Congrats on a very unique gun. What kind of markings does it have on the cylinder or frame? Would you mind posting some pics of the frame under the grips, specifically the left side to see how the factory originally marked that one? Of course only if you need to remove the grips for any reason.

Interesting configuration of a gun that has been quite elusive for me. Thanks for sharing and great find.

Jim,

That gun is pretty special with the cylinder being the only part that was nickel plated from the factory. Pretty unusual for sure and the addition of the target grips also makes it unusual.

You do manage to find some very nice guns.

Happy New Year!

Tom

Gotta say that is one cool 27 you have there. I usually don't like the 2 tone look but your's does something for me!

Congrats on your unique model 27!
