Window Grip
Not sure what you mean "original". Does it need a S&W logo?
The one I have has the S/N slot in the bottom, bronze Pach, medallions and is marked SK-G-2 inside.
If this sounds like what you're looking for, I could image it.

I'm not positive, but pretty sure, you want the Pachmayr Compac without medallions for a CS-1, if you're looking for an "original" grip.

WTB CS-1 Pach GRIP model # SK-C2 on inside of grip
Pachmayr grip model number SK-C2 located on inside of grip. Window at bottom of gun with wording Presentation/Combo. Medallion should be BELOW screw. New Pach's have medallion above screw and the screw hits the spring :0

This is a 686 no dash, and the grip that came on it when I bought it used.

This is my 3" CS-1 with the original grip:
It has a window on the bottom so you can see the sn.
I do believe the OP wants a similar one

I have this one. Has the window and looks like the one posted posted above. Doesn't have the markings that you describe on the inside of the grip.
