Besides holsters I make dog collars, too, and just did this one for Baddogg here on the forum. Here's his great looking dog Bullet wearing it. Since she's a "she" we feminized it a little with two hearts. The bullets are 9mm H.P.'s that I melted the lead cores out to lighten the bullets. The copper jackets are then seated in 9mm or .380 cases with popped primers. A hole is drilled through the brass into the copper bullet and a small nail is epoxied into that hole through the leather from the back to keep them from falling out. Then the lining covers the nail heads. Larger calibers can be used depending on the dogs size and width of the collar. Bullet here has a small 14" neck so that's about the minimum size I can make these.
If anyone is interested they cost at the moment $135 with bullet loops,
or $100 for a tooled one without bullet loops (see bottom pics). I'll pay shipping to the lower 48 states. If a dog has a long name there might not be room for the bullet loops. The ones with bullet loops are actually more time consuming to make than a tooled holster. These can be customized to your desires, usually with no extra charge except the hardware if there is any. Thanks for looking.
