Hope these help.
Here's two with the correct, numbered box that came with my 17-3.


They are the only pics I have of it available at this time.



My 17-3dates from about 1970 and has the two piece Bangor Punta box.

Dash threes ran a long time. Went from solid silver boarder lids to checked.
Have to go by your serial number to catch the front or back of the run for the right box.

Wow Cliff, isn't that something! I shoot at squirrels with mine, but it's in such nice condition that I may have to find an old beater to take to the woods. As if I needed an excuse to buy another!

John, I just target shoot with mine but, I wouldnt mind finding a beater to keep this one in nice shape. They sure are fun guns!
