It's one from S&W's value line with the squared-off exterior and some plastic parts. $280 is not a bad price, $300 is about the most I'd pay for one in like-new condition so use that as your yardstick. See if you can get them to knock a few bucks off the price.

The price is about right and they are great little pistols. I love mine and would not give it up. I did swap the plastic guid rod for a metal one for a 3913. Brownells sells them for around $20 if I remember right. It's an outstanding carry pistol.

$280 is a good price. Where can you buy a 3rd gen for that kind of price? I would pay up to $350 for a decent one with two mags and $25 less for one with one mag.

As has been said, a 908 is a great little carry gun. Not a lot bigger than a J-frame, pocket carries well, and even ankle carries well enough if you wear the correct style pants. I wouldn't put thousands and thousands of rounds through it, but it'll stand up just fine for self-defense.

Very good price! I'd snap one up for that if I could find one.

I picked one up (blued also) with two magazines for $279.00 and felt great about it. Excellent deal at $256.00. Shoot and enjoy!

In California that is a good price. I would buy it if it were in a local gun shop.
Good luck,
Howard
