I had an LCP once and really liked the gun. I thought it made for a great tiny carry option. I ended up swapping it out for a BG .380. I too liked the feel of the BG in my hand better than the LCP. The grip feels a little bigger and I just feel as though I have a more secure grip.
The laser was surprisingly dead on right out of the box, even though I haven't used it since I first tried it. I like the option of the safety, and the real sights.. Yeah, the LCP has a good idea: keep the sights to a minimum to keep the gun as smooth as possible, but I've yet to have any sort of snagging with my BG, and I do carry it in a pocket holster now and then.
I haven't had any sort of misfire or feeding issue or anything like that. Perhaps my biggest complaint was taking it down, but after doing it enough times it's become a lot easier.
Anyway, yes, I swapped an LCP for a BG and am very happy with the change.
