Barrel crown question 340pd vs 360pd
So I just picked up the brother of my 340pd, a 360pd. I noticed the 360 has a lot deeper crowning on the barrel. Now which one is correct? Did they forget to crown the 340, or did the previous owner of the 360 have this done? The 360 has had a little trigger work dOne so somebody has been playing on the inside. Any help would be appreciated!

Probably just a change in production , after they had a few hundred thousand people complain about messing up the end of their barrels??

It was definitely a production change. I just checked my older 342 and 337 ,and they don't have the recessed crown, but my M&P 340s do. Maybe someone will chime in with the production change date.

My 360PD has a recessed crown like the example on the right side of your photograph.
