New to me M15-3
A few weeks back I was in a LGS and found the little brother to my M15 6 inch barrel.. Had to have it! A M15-3 4 inch barrel. Went to the range, it handles and shoots very nicely.

Congrats!
15's are great guns. Good thing that most people don't realize how good they are. More for us....

Very nice. I have a few 15s and they are excellent shooters. I NEED a 15-3 to round out my 3s collection.

Very Nice. Brings back memories of Vietnam flying Air Rescue. Had one issued but with standard grips and the gawd awful "shoulder" holster.

Beautiful gun. I have a special fondness for my blue 15-3. It was my first S&W revolver purchase, made last July. It got me enthused about revolver shooting and I've bought thirteen more since - different models / calibers of course.
Enjoy your new found 15!

Very nice 15-3. Something special about the 4" K Frames.
Here is its twin. A 15-3 from 1970.

Beautiful revolver, Keith. The color case hardening on the hammer and trigger really pop.
