Looks good!
What muzzle brake do you have on there?? Is that held on with setscrews on a non-threaded barrel?

Nice gun! I just bought the basic model a couple days ago and already ran about 300 rounds through it.

Ok thanks, I am looking for something to put over my mass non threaded barrel. On that site I see a 15-22 suppressor for $24. Is that the one?
They call it a flash suppressor which is another no no here in Mass. But because it only has openings on the top half I would call it a compensator, and think it would be ok.

yea thats it. if ever asked i would call it a cosmetic piece of metal that makes your gun look pretty. i dont see how they could fine you for something that serves no real purpose but i could be wrong

It is a flash suppressor, not a compensator. Putting it on your 15-22 puts you in violation of the AWB, just like the situation here in Connecticut. The fact that TST calls it a flash hider shoots down trying to convince Mass otherwise.
Get a threaded adaptor from Tacticool22 and you can put a real compensator on it. Tactical Solutions makes two .22 LR-specific compensators. I have the 2211 model on mine. Just be aware that while it does decrease muzzle jump noticeably, it also increases the muzzle blast and noise to the sides.
Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Threaded Barrel End for Non-Threaded Muzzles [TBE2] - $30.00 : Tacticool22, Tactical .22 Rifle Parts and Accessories
http://www.tacticalsol.com/tshome/pac-lite-compensator
http://www.tacticalsol.com/tshome/2211-compensator
Both comps are available from Midway at less than TS's MSRP.

Sorry to hijack the thread. Majolk: I have seen that threaded piece before. But I dont care for the look and I am pretty sure the muzzle device would have to be permanently attached so I wouldn't have a threaded barrel end.
But in my search for a muzzle device I sent an email to Damon at trueshottechnologies
Here was his response:
"per you request and that of others in CA, CT, NJ, I am now working with my supplier to make a ‘brake / compensator’ for the 1522.
It will be similar to the hider, only instead of slots, it will have a series of holes.
It is strange that the ones who wrote the laws didn’t / don’t understand that in reality, a muzzle brake is far more dangerous than a flash hider because on a center fire weapon, a muzzle brake keeps muzzle climb controlled in rapid fire thereby allowing the user to keep his bullets on target in rapid fire.
Oh well, too bad they are ill informed.
Anyway, I will continue this project, keep in touch."
I will wait and see what he comes up with...

EVERYTHING associated with an AWB is stupid because such bans are strictly political tools - nothing more and nothing less. They (all of them) have accomplished NOTHING towards reducing crime.

Bringing up this old tread to say I was just checking out trueshottechnologies website again. Now for the 15-22 the muzzle device is now called a "muzzle brake". Sounds good to me! Now time to order

Yup, the changed the name, not the product. It's still a clone of the standard AR flash hider. I, personally, would not try to pass it off as a muzzle brake in a state where they are illegal, like here and Mass. Your state is more anal on their AWB than we are.
To each his own.

The 15-22 is a range gun. I am not worried about it. I wouldn't mess with laws that would involve a gun for possible personal defense. (like carry known post ban mags). If they take away my 15-22 and try to scrutinize about whether I have a muzzle brake or flash suppressor on it I will have much bigger problems to worry about….
