My newest N frame.
I just picked this up yesterday. A pretty nice 27-2 with an 8 3/8" barrel. I'm really starting to like the N frame .357's. This is my second one. The first being a 6 1/2" pre 27.

Thanks. I doubt I'll have the time to shoot the new onr this weekend. Here is a target I shot at 21 feet with the old last summer.
I hope to get some more shooting in this year. We're working on getting membership to a new club. I'd like to see what they can do at 25 yards, maybe further.

I have one of those! The 27-2 with that barrel length is really a fun gun for the range. I haven't been tempted to carry it out hunting since it is in such great shape and I have other options, but it certainly would do the task well. I like shooting mine at 50 yards, rarely less since I first got it. It particularly likes the Rem 140gr SJHP, or any Hornadys.

Very nice long barrel. Looks like new. Especially good looking
wood on the grips as well.

He sent me a picture of his collection. Quite impressive.

Very nice S&W's.
I really enjoy looking at the older revolvers. Just like cars, they just appeal to me in such a way that I really can't explain.

penn, your 27-2, is a beauty! The grips are sharp! I have a lowly 28 no dash 6 incher. Not precision shooting, but enjoy shooting steel targets at 25 yards. Getting good at it. My old model Blackhawk, does a good job too! I enjoy that clanging sound! Bob
