Default Unique 'Plumber's Helper'......

Plumber came over this morning to do some work and since we're both "S&W" types of guys he pulled this out of his jacket pocket to show me:

(since it's not my revolver I "buffed" out the serial # in the photo.)

I'm into the newer S & W's but he told me it's a 1 1/2 , DOB 1878 .32 S & W. He picked it up at a local shop for $250.00.

Hoppe's no.10

Whenever feasible I try and have an appropriate map as a background for my gun photos. This map is a reproduction of an 1873 map of the Oklahoma Territory that I bought after seeing the re-make of "True Grit." Goes along great with the Smith.

Very nice photos of an easy on the eyes old Smith. Sometimes plumbers run into rats.
