Smile Can I get a little holster help?

I have a 15 that I got recently, it shoots great, POA/POI is right on, trigger is amazing. I'm planning on shooting it in IDPA. My problem is that the holster I have for a k-frame fits my 4" 66 like a glove, but the 15s skinny barrel (also 4")doesn't sit quite so good in it, lots of "slop" so to speak.
Can I get a recommendation for makers who can fit the skinner barrel profile properly? I've surfed around a lot of different holster sites and most don't mention the 15, just "K" frame.
I'd like to have a fit as good as my other gun/holster setups.
TIA.

Talk to Rob, the owner of "Simply Rugged". I've found him to be most acommodating.

I would talk to Ray at Lobo. Check out his web site. I would recommend an Enhanced Pancake with Optional Inner Hammer Shield. It comes standard Detail Boned. You need to describe your gun exactly to Ray, and it will be a perfect fit.

Lobo Gun Leather - Home

For Speedloaders I would go with Safariland Comp III loaders.

Speedloader Carriers, I would go with North Mountain IDPA Compliant ones.

Bullets need to be round nose cast lead, or plated. I would recommend 150 - 158 grain. Keep the weight up for Steel Knock downs.

Bob

Contact DM Bullard leather in Azle Texas. He makes some very nice leather with a strong side heavy forward cant. Very nice work and a real gentleman to deal with.

Mine ride in either Kramer #3 IWB or a Milt Sparks VM-2 IWB. For OWB use such as USPSA/IDPA I have been using a DeSantis or a Kramer belt scabbard.
Might work for you as well.

Bob sure did point you in the right direction. Excellent advice and you'd do well heeding it!
