Default The Rex RX7301 scope

Well i bought this scope from Dunhams and went to the range this morning. I shot at 25, 50 ,and 100 yards, all i had was cci blazer ammo, all shooting was done with a bipod rest with no support in the back, groups at 25yards are one raged hole, groups at 50yards are an honest 1 1/2 inch and at 100yards are an honest 2 1/2 inch, the optics are superb. I will probaly keep this one for my m&p 15, pics soon to follow, pghrich

you might have got a good one but my experience with them was just the opposite--the adjustments sounded like grinding gravel and it would not hold zero at all,the company wont even reply to the email i sent--btw im no kid i been shooting for 38yrs and even had the k-mart 9.99 tasco scopes last 20yrs with no problems , the one i got was a p.o.s i didnt say everyone off the line was--i am still giving them the benifit of a doubt--i like the scope just would like it a whole lot better if it could perform its basic function as an aiming device and not an ornament--still awaiting their email

mine was an rx8336 like i said beautiful scope fits perfectly on the ar carry handle i installed(only 8 inches long) 3x9 power-its been 4 days since i sent the email and no reply,as you said glass is clear etc..but the adjusters are the worst i've ever touched its like everything is stripped and every 6 or so clicks it locks up and must be backed up in order to move forward again-something seriously wrong inside--my thoughts are if they stand behind their product i would be willing to try them again but if they dont even return an email they are not people i want to deal with in the future--i understand sometimes mistakes happen and a bad one gets out so i am giving them a chance to rectify the problem---good luck with yours hope your experience with them is better

Hello, i just got back from the range again, my son and i were shooting steel bowling pins at 50 yards aiming at the head[thats were they must be hit to go down using a 22lr] and i was consistintly knocking them down, 25 yards was to easy, and oh by the way i live in baldwin pa. here is a little detail on my scope, it has a fixed 2moa black dot with 4 cross hairs, it has the option to light just the black dot either red or green, if the battery goes dead you still have the black dot therefore no irons are really even needed, ,the 1.7 power is almost like having no power and the 5.1 power is powerful enough to 100yards and beyond, this scope has been given a lot of though in the design, thanks pghrich

WOW paint balls at 50 yards, now thats a challenge, i assume you mean free hand, you got me thinking, only thing is my club[clairton sportsmans club] may shy upon that, how do they cleanup? Our club has a very nice walk thru muzzle loader course thats has 25 different targets, a couple are 100yards at a gong, some are spliting a bullet on a axe and breaking two clay targets [one on either side of the axe] my friend and i use our 22 riffles i use the 15/22 and he uses his marlin m39, of course we never split the 22 bullet but its fun trying, pghrich
