Default 2ND Choice

Good morning to all. New to the site as well as novice shooter/new gun owner. First purchase was M&P 9mm and love shooting it. Now ready for second purchase and have been looking at S&W revolver and trying to compare the Model 27 and 686 and would appreciate opinions.

Welcome fom Wisconsin!

I have both the Model 27-2 and the 686-6. The 27 is the larger "N" frame while the 686 is the "L" frame. IMHO the 686 has a smoother trigger than the 27 in the DA mode; identical trigger in SA. That said I love them both and would not give up either of them!!!
