Default WEAPON LIGHT LENS CLEANING

i have a blackhawk xiphos weapon light on my m&p 45. the weapon light's lens is cloudy bc of the gases spent during firing. does anyone know of a way tgo clean the lens so i do not have to purchase another light? thank you

toothpaste works great on headlight lenses. might give it a good brushing and see. then give it a coat of silacone car polish. works great on windshields for easy bug removal. lee

The specs say it has a glass lens. Some toothpaste is abrasive. Have you tried just a damp soft cloth (cotton)? If not some glass cleaner on the cloth. If that doesn't work then perhaps something more aggressive
I cleaned my Streamlight that way.
