Default Current RCMP Holsters

Seeing a couple of old RCMP holsters for the five-inch M-10 in the classifieds motivated me to wonder which holsters the force issues now.

And are they still issuing DA-only S&W 9mm's?

Anyone know? Got pictures?

Thanks,

T-Star

Those flap holsters are fine in snowbanks, buckbrush and rain. I also figuered when my company issued me one 47 years ago they were more interested in protecting the gun than the guards!

I think they may now issue open-topped holsters for duty use, with maybe flap holsters now only for ceremonies.

Can our Canadian members comment?

I was informed (loudly) many years ago that my Uncle Sam paid $45.00 for that rifle. And Uncle Sam got me for free.
