I just got back from the range where they had a 19-5, 4", 357, for $399. It was a shooter that needed to be cleaned up. But it had a gap where the crane meets with the frame (cylinder closed). Most of my Smiths and others I have seen have no gap there. Do you think this would be a problem? I passed it up cause I don't know the price of that model and the gap kinda scared me off.
I didn't measure it but it's noticeable - maybe around .010". Like the crane was taken off a different gun and was slightly shorter than the original one.
