Been wanting a new AR and bought one of the VTAC guns from CDNN last week. Picked her up from my FFL and headed the lake for the weekend. Went to the local range area and loaded up a mag and fired the 1st shot. Pulled the trigger for the 2nd shot and the trigger would not move. I had to push the trigger forward slightly and then I was able to fire again. This continued to happen for several mags. I was pretty disappointed.
Took the gun home and broke her down and cleaned and lubed her. Took her back out and the same thing happened. This is the gun that has the JP trigger in it.

When I cycle the bolt and the gun is empty, the gun 'fires' as normal. Seems that the hammer resets, but the trigger does not. Anyone have any ideas?
I called SW today and filled out the warranty form. I am waiting on an email now to send the gun back. Will they replace the trigger? Repair it? Will they replace it with the new Gieselle trigger that is in the new guns?

Before your rifle ships off knowing you have a JP trigger that is adjustable why not go to JP's site and watch the videos to understand how to adjust it. Not hard to do. If you rifle has no felt take up in the trigger it could be as simple as backing the screw in the front part of the trigger out 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Or adding a bit of over travel to the rear screw.
