Is there any specific period of Smiths that is of more interest to you for trading items?

Not that I doubt the accuracy of it being N frame size, just curious...how was it determined to be for N frame?

It's a 1937 Brazilian, 1911? As far as I know K framed guns didn't have this?

Pre war K frames and 1st model I frame have the hold open device also. And your looking for Brazilian and 1911 parts.
