Ramen noodles, cooked spam with sweet relish on italian bread. Nothing like that to warm the cockles of your heart. Frank

Watch yourself that could qualify as a "straw purchase". Not a good idea to broadcast on the WWW.

If neither are prohibited how would it be considered a straw purchase?

how so? we have a joint bank account. even though her cash is paying for it. purchasing a firearm for someone as a gift is not a crime.and this is not the first time shes done it. she even said on the phone to the NICS counter guy "well take it". I was under the assumption that if you were purchasing a firearm, with the direct intent of handing it to someone who cannot purchase it themselves it was considered a straw purchase, not purchasing it for your live in significant other as a gift who also holds a CCW and has purchased around 60 firearms at that same place himself.

and im sorry for the ignorance in my original post. got a bit too excited because the shooting sports associate gave her the wrong information. not a model 60, its an early 90's late 80's rossi. in stainless with S&W wood grips. the one that exactly mimics the 60. without the awesomeness of a S&W. once i get a camera next week ill throwup some photos :-)

Kind of like a "wish" sandwich?

It's when you got two pieces of bread and you wish you had some meat!

"Whadda ya' want fer nuthin - Rubber Biscuit??!".
Sorry, got off on a Blues Bothers tangent...
