Default A Perfect Trio

Went to the range yesterday with my new to me 27-2 5". I know everyone has their favorites, but to me the 27 is perfect center fire revolver. Great triggers and enough mass to absorb the recoil of the .357 round like a champ.

On the pistol side, I brought my ruger 1911. There is a reason the 1911 platform is still popular after 100 years.

What range trip is complete without a rimfire to round out the group. And everyone knows the k-22 in the leader of the pack. It is fun to shoot out the 100 yard berm with this 17-4 long tube.

wiki....

"When distinguished as a subset of handguns, a pistol is a handgun with a chamber that is integral with the barrel, as opposed to a revolver, wherein the chamber is separate from the barrel as a revolving cylinder."

We need to get back on topic.

That's a nice trio. The 27 and the K22 are both on my list.

Soo, What do you think of your Ruger 1911? I'm starting to see the light and thinking I need a 1911.
