Thats pitiful and they keep going up on Postal rates and I believe the service they offer is marginal compared to the way it used to be.

An acquaintance works as a package handler at the New Stanton, PA UPS processing center. Any small package marked FRAGILE or DO NOT CRUSH gets punted, drop kicked and/or batted around by the staff. Unmarked packages go unmolested.

On the plus side, if he can't read, then your magazines arrive on time and in good condition. Right?

That has to be frustrating, Dave B.

We, on the other hand, have a rural mail carrier that goes above and beyond: When it comes to packages, she will leave them on a porch, out of sight and often in a plastic bag if the weather is threatening. If a package appears to her to be something of value, she will often "hide" it and leave us a note. (We know where to look.)

In return, she always reveives a friendly wave and is remembered during the holiday season.

I have received burned mail, shredded mail, and mail with tire tracks on it.

I am afraid to print "Do not burn, mutilate, or run over with truck" on my packages for fear of being labeled a kook.

Default I'm blessed

Howdy,
Hope it wasn't damaged.
We are lucky.
We have a wonderful mail carrier and a great staff at the local office.
Thanks
Mike

Somewhere there's a language where "Do Not Bend" means "Extremely Flexible, Please Fold, Spindle, and Mutilate"

Mine does that too............and she'll knock on my door to let me know she's been there, in case I'm asleep or not paying attention. When she takes a day off, I can always tell........I get everyone's mail but my own. Last week I got a letter for a company in another STATE. And it's not the first time, either.

as i was mowing the yard last year in July, i look at our mail box to see smoke rolling out the front.
the carrier(who smokes) had put a bag from SWMBOs fav. shopping show in the box with a lite cigarette and set it ablaze.
i left the pile of melted plastic in the box until December to remind him to watch where he throws his butts.
he still gets red faced everytime he sees me

Steamloco - I had 34 years with UPS and your friend is so full of it!
