My 442 endshake problem was fixed at S&W. They had it for 7 business days. The repair note said they fixed the yoke. I decided to sell this revolver because it has had a couple of problems with only 40 rounds through it. It developed the endshake and it tumbled short barrel rounds to where ovals were in the target. I purchased a new 442-1 about a week ago. No problems with it. Shoots great.
