hooked on 3rd gen smiths!
so I bought my first 3rd gen smith, a 3953, back in January. I have been debating and saving up for another purchase, and was leaning towards a .22lr - likely a 422/622/2206. However, I ran across a blued cs9 on an auction site and couldn't seem to help myself. got it for $395 - with box, 2 mags, plus shipping and ffl.
How'd I do? - thinking it was prolly a decent purchase?
Thanks

I haven't priced on of those but you probably did well.
I am also hooked on older smiths. I started a month ago and have purchased 3 semi autos and 3 revolvers to go with the one revolver I already had. And I'm looking to add a couple more soon (next week). When I get some pics taken I'll post them. I sold my polymer framed pistols so I could fund the new aquisitions and I don't regret it one bit.
I'm a firm believer you can't have too many S&Ws on hand.

Get used to it. There seems to be no cure for your addiction and you will get no sympathy from the rest of us addicts here.

You did very well. I have been looking for a CS9 for a very long time without any success. I will keep looking.

Thanks for the replies - I have been looking for a cs9 for a little while now (ran across 2 cs40s in the process!), so thought that it was in good shape for a good price.

Fellow addicts. In the last year, I have purchased seven (7) 3rd Gens. They are addictive. I love their strength, simplicity and modularity.
Here are some of my 3rd Gens.
Missing are my two 4003TSWs. I have 3rd Gens is 9mm, .40 and .45 ACP.
Once you get started...
