There's a sub forum for the Sigma and SD aficionados, most here are 3rd generation and 1911 addicts.

I have an SD9 too, and it's an awesome gun. I describe it as the 915 of the polymer framed world. Everything you need in a handgun and nothing you don't.

The SD9 doesn't get near enough attention. And I hear it's discontinued. I have a blast with mine at the range. It's not my carry gun but it's a great gun to shoot.

I don't have one, but both my brother & boss own one and love it. It's a step of from the Sigma.

You should get one while you can. It's an awesome value for what they cost. I would run that up against a $1000 9mm in terms of accuracy and dependability. Assuming you can even find one.

Apex also makes a $20 spring kit for the SD9/SD40 which knocks about 2lbs off the trigger pulls and smooths it up nicely. I have said many times that the SW9VE/SW40VE are excellent budget guns while the SD series are budget priced high quality guns.

I love my SD, it has it's place. Not too big, yet not too small, and I've never had a ftf or fte in over 1500 rounds. Probably a lot more but I'm guessing on the low end.
Apex kit is must, especially for only $20. The trigger still isn't perfect but it's also not a $1000 gun either.
