Is there any gun I could use in place of the 3953TSW to make a holster for the 3953TSW? I may need to make a couple and it's probably not worth buying the gun for just a few holsters and to the best of my knowledge there's no molds available for it.

3913TSW uses the same frame and slide. Other than that I'm not sure.

It would also depend on if it was a "pre-rail" TSW or not. If it was a pre-rail the 3913/14, 3853/54 and the 6900 series should work.

Thanks for the replies, I'll look into what he has, I'd probably be better off with a rail version for future orders. I might put some feelers out and see if anyone else would be interested and see if it'll be worth it to buy one. That is after all the advantage of being a holster maker, I get to write off handguns and the wife never says a word, long guns aren't are another story...

You could also use the 5900TSW series, the rail/trigger guard would be the same, just 1/2" more slide than the 3900 compacts. There are also the Ladysmiths, NL, 4040PD and 908s' that have a sloped dust cover different from the the standard 3900 compact.
