Mauser,... Best drop in, replacement trigger group?
Looking for recommendations for a replacement trigger for a wartime model 98 large ring Mauser action. Minimal gunsmithing, but will listen to other suggestions....

I have a Timney on an 03-A3; minimal work to install and adjust trigger pull. Had a Canjar on an M2 Spfld 22: easy to install, VERY high quality but I think out of production now.

I think Jewel makes one too, but the only experience I've had is with the Timney trigger. It was easy to install, straight forward to adjust, and worked flawlessly.

For a single stage trigger, you can't beat the Timney. I shot one for a while, but all my other rifles are two stage triggers, so I swapped it back out.

I have a "Bold" trigger in mine. Works great, less money.

I usually use Timney's or the Bold Optima.

Dayton Traister is an excellent replacement trigger and isn't expensive!
