Default DOB's needed

I need approx date of manufacture for insurance paperwork for 6 of my S&W revolvers I purchased used.
4" 64 ND skinny/standard barrel, SN: D611xxx 1973/74
2" 64-2 SN: 7D20xxx 1981
2" 640 ND .38 spl, SN: CAC3xxx
4" 681 ND .357 mag, SN: AJU5xxx
4" 617 ND .22lr, SN: BEF4xxx
4" 65-5 .357 mag, SN: CBE6xxx
Not looking for anyone to do my work for me, if you can point me in the direction of a look-up post or website. Also not looking to spend $$$ on letters form S&W for guns that are just shooters and not collectible. Any assistance appreciated and thanked in advance!
-Figured out 1st two on my own via google

See above. Sometimes just being curious is enough reason for a letter!

Hope this is helpful.

See what above? I don't get what you're saying? Factory letters look to be $50 per gun, times 6 guns, is $300. I'm not $300 worth of curious, just trying give accurate info to get a insurance quote.

Please look back at your original message, then (the date) after each gun.

Whether you get a letter or not is a personal decision.

You're welcome.

To expand...people get letters to confirm an original configuration, to see when and to where it shipped (more common with older or military guns), or if it went to a famous person (rare). And sometimes, you just want to know a little history and are curious to where it shipped, no matter what the vintage.
