Default Good buys at the show

27-2

19 (no dash)

18-2

For what I spent on all three I would have paid for the 27-2.

Sometimes you just get lucky.

You we're a busy person i'd say. Nice looking weapons.
Can't beat 3 for 1 pricing.

Looks like the 27 is very lightly used.

Those revolvers represent some of the all time classics of the S&W line. Very well done, and nice photos too. Always nice to here a forum member getting a 3 for 1 deal. Congrats.

Prices please, If you are willing. I love to hear about the great deals that some get. I have gotten a few here and there. Never a triffecta, never on great classics like yours. Great looking guns.

Keep these Classics well preserved but shoot the heck out of them.

Finding one revolver you really want at a gun show is a good day and finding 3 for the price of one is an amazing day and hopefully you bought a lotto ticket one your way home.

What gun show was this? The ones in my area have overpriced plastic guns, wax candles, and Indian dream catchers.

Funny my order of preference would have been the 27-2, 18-2, and then the Model 19 no dash.

its great when you can score at a gun show you have to really pay attention to the people walking around and what they are trying to sell

Yea, I was gonna say, that 19 is killer, right grips and everything. My model 19 no dash came with incorrect non-diamond footballs, which detracts a little from the value.

The show was at the Allentown, PA Fairgrounds. They have a lot of antique dealers there and they are more interested in selling $7500 original Henry Rifles then these “new” revolvers. I was looking for the 3 ˝” 27 and a 6” 19 (the guy had one of those too, a -4 and wanted more money for it then the no dash) but I couldn’t turn down a 1958 19 with the original wood. I would have bought the 6” 19 too but I found a 1900 Remington with steel barrels and ejectors that I couldn’t pass up.

I'll take them to the range tomorrow.

BTW – They are all right at home with their siblings.

It appears the stocks on that 19 have been modified, but still - a nifty gun. And at the three-for-one pricing, who could complain too much? Nice looking guns - particularly the 27. Looks near new. It was a lucky day for you!
