Default Kamikaze drones

Interesting news -- the Army is procuring the new "Switchblade" drone (manufactured by Aerovironment) -- so-called because after it is fired from it's launch tube, it's four wings spring open and it's propeller starts. It weighs about 5.5 lbs, can be launched by a person on the ground, from a vehicle or aircraft. It is designed to hit small targets such as a group of bad guys planting an IED. Once it secures
a lock-on to a designated target, it can follow the target even if it moves. it can also be re-called, put into a "loiter" ellipse, then re-activated to re-acquire the target. When given the command to engage the target, it dives into the target and explodes (has the explosive power of a grenade). Gives the term "Banzai" a new meaning.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking civilian uses (equipped with a flash-bang or large paint ball or skunk-scent ball) could include
handling a barking dog down the street at 2 AM or inconsiderate punks cruising down your street with 400 amps of rap/heavy metal blaring -- not quite sure of the cost-effectiveness

Would be a very effective weapon for "Occupy" crowds as well.
Simply load it up with soap and deodorant and feed it the correct
coordinates.

Is that Captain Kirk. I believe it is, and he's come back to earth in the clever disguise as T J Hooker. Terminator and Rambo, watch your butts.

On YouTube, search "switchblade drone," and a demo video pops up.
