Default LE Model M&PS

It seems like I always make things difficult for myself. Looking for a midsize (4") M&P45 with a magazine safety and it appears the only way to get one is to get the LE model (307607LE) that includes night sights too. That is fine with me, but now I notice the websites that offer these models sell only to LEOs.

I'm wondering if my LGS can get one for me. I'll ask next visit but in the meantime, any non LEOs ever have trouble buying LE model M&Ps?

Can't imagine why a gun with a mag safety and night sights would be LE only.

I embarked on a similar quest, and to find the 4 inch with night sights and magazine safety is no easy feat. My local gun store has the 4" without the bells and whistles for pretty cheap, though, like $530.00.

That is a pretty good price Gaston. Tempting I'm sure. Yes, the gun I currently want is going to be hard to acquire. Good thing I'm not in a hurry.

I believe the LE models have 3 mags included also.

There are some 4" M&P pistols for sale on Gunbroker. I saw used for $400 and New for $520. Neither had the night sights though.
