I can't believe my eyes!
This morning I went to Wally's to get a new belt and shoes and I stopped by the ammo case to see what I can grab what's left. Would you know it, the case in filled to the hilt. All calibers and all three brands.
Oh no! What to get, what to get LOL.
I decided on two 100 pack 40sw UMC HPs. Still $33 a pack, not bad. I looked at the 9mm boxes and decided not to get any. I haven't been shooting my Sigma 9mm for a while, just my Sig P250c 40sw.

Why are you surprised? Ammo is plentiful here in my area. And it will be as long as the chicken littles maintain their sanity.

The two WM's near me are almost always out of the common stuff. I look for 38spec or 357 mag, [well and 22... but they never stock the std vol that I need! ] and they might have one box of each, and its always the 130g stuff. .. Ive about given up looking any more.

Where I live the stock seems to vary. The older, just recently updated Wally World seems to always have something available that I want to shoot. The newest fanciest has dust bunnies on the shelves. Must be something to do with the local manager.

The Wally world close to my home usually has 22, 38, 9mm, 40, and 45 ACP...it is just the cheap WWB, but there is plenty of it....it is the 30+ minute wait to find out who has the key to the case, and then get them rounded up to come down and let you in...that is just awful....I will go to Academy Sporting goods instead these days.

I must be in ammo heaven. Last time I went to Wally World (couple days ago) the shelves were packed. They will remain so until it's closer to election time though and hopefully the local gunrange/store won't buy it all up. I buy a box here and there so I don't have to worry

Supply has seemingly caught up with demand.Panic buying/hoarding seems to have declined. Military operations have been cut back along with demand for ammo to fill military contracts. Brass/copper/lead prices have also dropped. The Gov't is releasing tons of once fired brass again.
Still seems to be a lack of variety. All I'm finding is FMJ military style stuff or $1/round premium designer defensive combat HPs. Still don't see once common stuff like 148gr .38 Special wadcutters.

There are several Wally Worlds within 20 miles of me and none of them ever has any full bricks of .22 ammo. They are getting better at having 380-9MM-38- 40 and 45 ACP in stock. 223 ammo too. No Tula anymore.

We must go to the same Wally World or else the personnel shortage is city wide. Either that or they issue only 1 key and play hide the key

I'm a little surprised at how many here seem ok with Walmart. I view them as Main St. killers, US manufacturing killers and job killers who pay **** wages. The ones around here are full of bums.

I will second the SGA ammo website especially for CCI 22 standard velocity. Very expensive ammo locally for me. With SGA I am much better off mail ordering the ammo. Had good experience with JG sales in AZ as well. The local Walmart does not sell Ammo and the cost of gas makes it not worth while to drive to one that does.

The Wally World by me had Remington .38+p (100 rd)@ 19 bucks a box.
Regular .38's were 21 bucks????
I couldn't pass it up and bought three!

I went by Wally's this morning and the ammo case was going empty so I looked in and found two 100pack of WWB 165 FMJFNs. I was looking for UMC 180 HPs but those were gone already. At least I still have a 100pack UMC at home.
What gets me is that the WWB FMJs is only $1 cheaper than the UMC HPs.

I will second SGA Ammo too. Bought a case of Lawman 9mm 115's for less than $11 a box of 50.

I couldn't agree more, my LGS has Federal 40 S&W for 14.99 bx of 50. The 9mm is $10.99 per box, I'd rather support my LGS than put it in Wally's pocket.
