Default I finally decided and ordered the 627 Pro.

Finally made up my mind, but like several others said, I will be getting a 686 or 2 to go along with it. Just FYI, paid right at $775 delivered NIB. I thought that was a pretty good price after looking around for a few weeks. I still haven't seen one in person but guess I will shortly. Thanks for your help, advice and photos along the way. It all helped with the decision. I REALLY wanted the 627 PC but that was another $225- just had to pull the horns in a little.

Looking forward to a full review on it. I am looking at that same model trying to decide between it and a 686 SSR.

I received my 627 PC about 2 weeks ago. Everything locked up tight. Beautiful piece, smooth action. I don't have a trigger gauge but based on a comparison of a Ruger a Taurus and 1911's its about 7 to 8 pounds out of the box. It shot exactly to point of aim right out of the box. It is the first weapon I've ever owned in 40+ years of shooting that I did not have to fiddle with the sights or adjust my point of aim (fixed/combat sights). Overall, I'm giving it a 9.9 on a scale of 10. I'm holding off on the 0.1 only because its only been in the family for two weeks.
