I bought a 342PD back in year 2000 so its prelock. Black frame w/ red ramp and titanium cylinder. Fired it about 10 times. Its still in original formed jewelry type box with white outercover and all paperwork and Masterlock, keys, etc. from factory. Everything is there!! Don't see many for sale for comparison, so what's the going rate for one in 99% condition.
A local gun shop recently had two as new 342's with all the goodies in the used gun case and they were priced at $650.
IMO, it's one of the finest pocket revolvers ever made. I've carried a 342Ti every day for over 10 years and love it. The black finish of the PD is more durable than the clearcoat on the Ti and the PD weighs a little less, mostly because of the grips. The cylinder flutes of the PD are a bit deeper (and sharper) than on the Ti and I suspect that accounts for a little additional weight savings.
