M&P 45c frame.
Is it possible to just buy the non serial numbered compact frame?
I REALLY want to build a Colt CCO style M&P out of my full size.

Not gonna happen. I like your idea, but you are going to have to swap slides with a complete compact firearm. A Non serial numbered frame is defiantly out of the question.

I have not done a complete tear down of the M&P, but in the only other poly frame pistol I own... The serial number is on the metal chassis of the fire control group.
So the frame isn't serial numbered at all.

It is part of the M&P's frame, on a metal plate just to the rear of the RH slide lock/release. The frame itself is considered to be the firearm, even when the slide is not attached, or assembled to the frame.
