Default Question about posting a new sale ad.

I was reading the rules and was unclear on this excerpt:

"As soon as you edit the title, the thread is considered to be closed and will be locked by forum staff. You are then free to immediately start a new ad thread."

Does this mean once I edit to say SOLD I can start a new ad, or does the thread have to be locked first?
This is the ad in question:
**SOLD** Grips sold, sight blade withdrawn. Mods, please lock thread. Thanks.

Thanks.

Thanks for asking. Yes, once you edit the title and add "SOLD", "SPF", "WITHDRAWN", "TRADED" or "FOUND" to the beginning, you're free to start another ad in that classifieds forum, even if we haven't closed it yet.

When checking for multiple ad violations, we go into the members profile, click the statistics tab and look at "Threads started by...". If we see that a previous ad title in that category has been edited, we close it. If we happen to notice it when browsing the classifieds, we'll close it then but we don't want the ad bumped to get our attention. Posting a reply to the thread stating that the items are all sold bumps the thread to the top of the front page and moves other active ads down the list.
