Default Which APEX ?

Hey guys , switched from the .40shield to new 9C. I love the capacity , recoil , size , and everything but the trigger.

I was going to get an APEX sear but I can get the Duty kit for 89 installed , as well as competition.

This guy gets some carry in my remora , and I'm not worried about ND , because my guns are always loaded and in a holster.

I was thinking the competition would be the best bet but need opinions . I carry a Glock 29 10mm with a complete non drop in Ghost Rocket 3.5lb trigger , and love it.

I'm trying to get similar enjoyment of the M&P's trigger like my ghost.

I really dont like the first shot out of the 9c. I'm assuming this is the DAO , or fact that the first pull is longer ? I have only been to the range once with her.

I love the gun , better Ergos then my glock and 9mm ammo prices are my new best friend !

My personal opinion is I would never get a comp kit in an M&P. A trigger that light would only be of use on a range and never for carry or defense. The DC kit (which I have in mine) makes for a nice trigger and that's the main thing, 5 lbs is a good pull weight imo.

The trigger is very light , but the saftey does it's job and the entire squeeze although light -- is not "too light to carry" by any means. I think it's perfect.

Should I get the RAM ? What would it do in regards to the AEK Comp I have on now !

I, personally would be concerned about the competition kit without a manual safety. But if you do have the thumb safety model like Rudy, I WOULD go that route.

I carry a Glock 29 10mm with 135gr UW Nolsters (1600fps 10mm) , with a Ghost 3.5 Rocket Kit -- IWB in a remora and still have my junk attached.

If my finger is off the trigger , and holstered -- the gun won't shoot , period. fact.

This trigger is very 1911 like -- it's not by any means a "feather".

The ram will give you a felt reset and a audible one as well. Also will allow you to fire weapon if trigger bar were to break.

Range report : most accurate gun I've even fired. Best groups ever out of a new gun ,Trigger is a glass breaker , staging is superb , and overall the apex kit was worth in my opinion more then $100.

Although my G29 is my carry , I would carry my 9c with my setup with no worries. The trigger is like my dads 1911. IMO they should come from the factory his way.

I would say this is a must buy for any M&P owner. I couldn't get the RAM because my gun has the ambi safety's -- so putting it on would require a bit of work , however -- after my range trip today I'm beyond happy with just the comp AEK. Best polymer trigger I've ever fired .

0 malfunctions , and zero "ad" double tape ... No reason after 200 rounds that I would be uncomfortable carrying it , and if I didn't own a G29 and underwood ammo wasn't around -- I would in a heartbeat. Here's a cool pic I took/made of my gun.

Lookin' good!

I have the DCAEK with the stock trigger spring, and my trigger is as light as I would be comfortable with -- probably around 4 lbs.

I'm mad I can't get the RAM !!!

Is apex going to make a saftey (ambi) compatible one? And the trigger is light but nowhere near what I've read. I was at the range and did a 200 round test -2 no "easy double taps" and it's stageable to an amazing point.

Shot placement is key , and the comp kit makes this the best handgun I've ever fired

I would say the trigger is 3.0lb mark
