1967 29-2, 4 inch
I finally located a 1967, 4 inch 29-2. This gun confirms as shipped in May of 1967. This is a birth year gun for me and took a while to find. It seems not many 29-2's were shipped in '67. The finish isn't pristine but it shoots and functions just fine.

Very nice. Glad you found one.
You may already know this, but the 29-2's from around 1966 to 1968 had a unique ampersand and font on the barrel. When I got mine, I was convinced that mine had been re-barreled until I read Doc44's post on ampersands.

Very nice. The 4" guns are simply so Pleasing to look at. Just about aestetically perfect. The 5" guns ARE perfect.
Wish my "Birth year"guns were cartridge models. LOL.

Blackduece, yes I do recall your post a few days ago regarding the different roll marks on the barrel of guns during these years. It's different and I like the way it looks.

Very nice find. Great photo also. I believe I've seen that stump with another nice N frame of the 57 persuasion laid upon it. Congrats.
